With hands on training this is particularly valuable and you get to do everything yourself, and can go at your own pace progressing faster when things are clear and practicing further when extra practice is desirable.
Whatever level you are at, from absolute beginner, a person with film experience converting or a digital photographer looking to make a giant step forward, or a professional photographer looking to expand your skills, this is the ideal way to make very fast progress.
If you have yet to decide which camera, or lenses to buy, then the chance to spend a day trying out ours, can assist you to make the decision that is right for you, and can often result in savings well in excess of course costs. We have a lot of equipment that you get to see and handle.
You can select one of the defined days we have, define your own completely or modify one of our suggested days. We also offer suggestions for courses lasting several days and have two multi day specials that also include evening sessions.
To book select any of the dates on the calendar that do not have a course code or telephone or email us to discuss your requirements. If you cannot see a slot in the calendar with enough days together to get in your chosen course, please ask as we can often move about other commitments, or free up allocated time.
Selecting what you would like to cover

For many this is far simpler than you would imagine in that they just arrive and leave it to us, we then start from the beginning, going quickly over the ground you know and slowing down where you would like to explore some parts more fully. At the beginning of this session the tutor looks at your interests and experience to date so can make sure the areas of most interest to you are covered. Of course if you have more specific requirements then you can define these in advance, either specifically or by selecting one of the suggested day courses we have. Once you have booked your day or days, you can if you wish call and discuss the day with your tutor allowing him or her to make sure they have all the equipment, lenses and other items already out and available when you arrive. This is particularly relevant if you want to use the larger 10 head studio lighting system, the flash creative lighting studio, or the picture framing studio as these take a while to set up. If you want to speak to the tutor just call in and check when a good time to speak to him that is convenient to you will be and then call them back at that time.
Another option, if you have a couple of days or more available, then you could spend a day covering the course and getting some practice and on the second day we could venture out and spend a full day in the field, covering your area of interest. We also offer a 4 day and 3 evening multi day special as an executive 1 to 1 option. This is great value, saving not only on training costs but also on travelling and away times as well as getting you really proficient far faster. If you have been on a previous course and covered a part of this, you will be able to arrange with your tutor, after booking, to change the schedule to fit in more of what you want to cover and avoid more duplication than you want to have. overcome a number of areas they have experienced problems with. As a 1 to 1 day
is for you, we are happy to take just about any route that you find most
helpful.

Masterclasses. Perhaps you would rather look in depth at a specific area like focus, sharpness and depth of field.
