These services and products are designed to assist clients to achieve more.

The following services are available to those who have been on 1 to 1 courses with Camera Images, Photography Skills or Photos Skills. They are not available to others.

This list of services, kits, reference cards and booklets will be expanded, many of the items have been developed for the Photography Skills Masterclasses, but also applied in other courses. Some items like the new reference book we have produced to go with the Capture NX course and given to all who attend now, is not being included as they do not stand on their own without the specific training.

If the course or 'short' you are doing covers the area covered by the guide or aid, you will be given a copy.

Printer Profiles

You can bring your computer, printer, and paper types in to produce profiles while you are here, on a 'short' , or as a part of a day course, with no additional cost. We can also do screen profiling here with Pc's, but you need to be here at the right time of day for the room lighting to be correct. As screen profilers are low cost and screens need to be re-profiled fairly regularly this may be best done yourself, where printer profilers are expensive and probably only used when you get a new paper type, it's often more economic to use a service like the one below.

Postal pack service - disk with test print file, A5 booklet and 3 profile vouchers. The booklet explains what to do, how to print out the test fie that you send to us and where to put the profile that we send back to you. We have two versions, one for the PC and one for the MAC. The profile vouchers allow you to get three profiles, as and when you like.  You need a profile for every combination of printer, paper and ink that you use. As most will use one printer and that has the same ink in, this means you need a profile for each type of paper you use. £99. 

Refill packs of 3 vouchers cost £75.

3 fold Reference Cards (now given away with courses where they are relevant)

• Capture NX Keyboard shortcuts (laminated) PC one side, Mac the other. £7 (free with Capture NX day course).
• EV Table (laminated) allows manual exposures to be worked out.  £7 (free with Exposure Masterclass).
• Photoshop CS3 keyboard shortcut, set of 5 divided by subject. Choice of PC or Mac versions.  Laminated £25   unlaminated version £9
• A Quick Guide to Nikon D__  Menus (laminated) a version available for each Nikon camera, unlaminated version given free on Hands on a Nikon course. Helps you to quickly locate the options you are looking for in the camera menus, also gives page number in the cameras manual. £7.

Booklets

Photoshop CS3 keyboard shortcuts in a booklet, similar content to 3 fold set. £9.  PC and Mac versions

Depth of field tables - free with Sharpness, Focus, Depth of Field Masterclass.

Several versions.  Nikon versions £9 each, others £15 each

• Nikon DX sensor (All Nikon DSLR's except D3).

• Nikon FX sensor (Nikon D3).

• Others are available, please ask. While the Nikon ones are available from stock, the others may involve a few days delay, to complete them.

Course Certificates

We can issue certificates for attendance on each days training if this helps, some people like to build a book of course certificate's to show what training they have had. It may also be helpful if you are looking to get someone to take you on as a trainee photographer or photographic assistant, or possibly to show a bank manager if you want a business loan, or even to put in frames in the reception of your new photographic business. We don't automatically produce these, but can if you ask. You can ask for them later if you want, but please try to allow a few days for them to arrive. There is no charge for this. Just email us for these, rather than completing a support order form, please remember to tell us which course and dates you want these for.

• Grey card, laminated with a matt finish. Used to set white balance Pre and for exposure metering, plus white reverse acts as a reflector for macro photography. £12
• Panorama view cut-out set (card) - allows you to look at a view and see what would fit into a variety of panoramas shapes £22
• Frame and 5x4 view cut-out set (card) - allows you to look at a scene and visualise what it will look like when photographed, and printed either full frame or as a 10x8 print. - Similar to composing aids used by artists. £22

Advertising design support - if you are starting a photographic business or expanding one and would like us to create the artwork in Photoshop CS3 for you, supplied usually as PDF and a Tiff. We can put your ideas into practice or come up with designs for you. Let us know if this interests you.
